… dying of boredom… work has been soooooooo painful lately… All I want to do is develop some ‘NEW’ code, but wait.. we need to first do estimates, oh but those aren’t until next week as the product mangers aren’t available. Oh, and no one can provide mock ups because that can’t possible happen until after we have product properly define what they want… shit, also no one can make the meeting on friday so lets reschedule…  does something seem wrong with this picture?  If scrum is supposed to be so efficient what is going wrong?

.. don’t businesses realize that developers would be alot more productive if you kept them busy with actual DEV work?.. Bah… Advance planning.. whats that?…  Show up to a planning session with mockups and a true understanding of what the business needs are and we might actually get somewhere.

*sigh*.. sad thing is that in this kind of enviroment.. you almost stifle yourself by being proactive as your not following the flow.  Best to secretly get a head start on developing the next feature without ‘certain individuals’ knowing, otherwise crap might hit the fan because we didn’t follow process… another highly productive day in a highly productive environment.  Hey.. at least my estimates will be good because it will be half done by the time I give them.
